Maram (singer)

Maram (Arabic:مرام, born Mariam Al Belushe) is one of Kuwait's leading female singers whose career began in 1997. Her discography consists of light-hearted, quick-paced, and upbeat Arabic pop songs. A long dryspell, during which Maram had her first child, was followed by a new album in 2006. Like many other Arabic singers, she moved to the famed record label Rotana Records, owned by Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. Her first album with the new record label, "Dala Banaat", did not receive much coverage by the Rotana Music channel and includes only one song, "Helef Lee", that has been released. Nevertheless, it has received critical acclaim.
