Marañón (footballer)

Rafael Carlos Pérez González (born 23 July 1948 in Olite), nicknamed Marañón, is a former Spanish footballer.

During his club career he played for Real Madrid, RCD Espanyol, and CE Sabadell. He scored a total of 111 goal for Espanyol, second all-time behind Raúl Tamudo. He earned 4 caps for the Spain national football team in 1977 and 1978, and was part of the Spanish team for the 1978 FIFA World Cup, but he did not play in the finals.
