Mar Thoma II was the second metropolitan bishop of the Indian Malankara Church of Kerala from 1670-1686. He was consencrated by Mar Thoma I, his predecessor, and Mar Gregorios Abdul Jaleel, delegate of the Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch. During his tenure, Mar Baselious and Mar Ivanios from Syria visited India. Mar Thoma II died in 1686 and is buried in Niranam.
