Mar Baselios Christian College of Engineering and Technology, Kuttikanam (MBC), Peermade, Idukki, Kerala, India is a self-financed engineering college founded in 2001 and run by the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in Kerala. The college is situated on a sprawling 77 acre campus amidst tea gardens at Pothuppara in the pictureque Peermade hill station which is 80 km from Kottayam.

The chairman of the college is HH Mar Thoma Moran Mar Baselios Didymos I, the Catholicos of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in Kottayam, Kerala, India.
The present Principal is Dr E V Mathew. Prof. A J Paul is the Head of the Electronics and Telecommunications Dept. Prof. A M Francis is the Head of the Computer Science and Engineering Department. Prof Christy Koshy is the Head of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. Dr. George Easaw is the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department. Mr. C D Mathew is the Placement officer of the college and the college has had one of the best placement records of almost 75% placement for final year students in the year 2006. The first batch graduated in 2005 with 60% placement.

The College has five branches of engineering. They are Electronics and Telecommunication, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, Computer Engg., Electrical and Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (since 2005).

MBC is the first[citation needed] fully residential engineering college in Kerala with two big hostels for men and one for women. Besides there are also residential quarters for the Principal, married and bachelor faculty members. The college has plans to link the hostels to the Internet and to have a wi-fi campus.

The college also has a Linux Users Group (MBC-LUG) meeting in a high-tech computer center with 60 machines and high quality audio, video projection facilities on the campus
