Mar Athanasios College for Advanced Studies Tiruvalla (MACFAST)- Kerala, India, is a postgraduate school that offers specially developed courses in the fields of Information Technology, Biosciences, and Management Studies. It is owned and managed by the Corporate Educational Agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Tiruvalla of Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, a religious and charitable society with His Grace Most. Rev. Dr.Thomas Mar Koorilos as the President and Patron. A large number of schools, colleges, hospitals, hostels, medical and paramedical institutions (Pushpagiri Medical College, Tiruvalla), and research centres have been established throughout India in the past 70 years. Situated amidst lush green tropical trees, MACFAST, is housed in a modern, multi-storey building with a total built-up area of 200,000 sq ft (19,000 m²). It comprises lecture halls, seminar rooms, conference halls, offices, and a well-stocked Business and IT library as well as a digital library. The institution has a 2 Mbit/s leased line Internet connection with more than four class C private IP addresses in a large network consisting of more than 200 computers and several servers running on open source operating system. The college provides hostels for girls and boys under the supervision of the Rev. Sisters and Fathers.
The College conducts MBA and MCA courses, each with a student strength of 60 with the approval of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). All the courses are affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University. MACFAST is thus able to bring out, each year, a significant number of postgraduate professionals, specially trained to suit the needs of both the industrial and educational sectors

Dr. P. K. Abraham formerly Managing Editor and MD of Deepika and later General Manager of FACT is the Director of the College.
The administration and the day-to-day management of the College rest with the Director under the overall supervision of the Principal, Rev. Dr. Abraham Mulamoottil and manager Rev. Dr. Isaac Parappallil. The board of governors of the college is constituted as prescribed by the AICTE. Currently the Chairman of the Board of Governors is Dr. M. V. Pylee, Kerala's well-known educationist and management guru.
