María Cristina "Marita" Perceval (b. 10 September 1956, Mendoza, Argentina) is an Argentine Justicialist Party politician. She sits in the Argentine Senate representing Mendoza Province in the majority block of the Front for Victory.

Perceval is the daughter of Julio Perceval, a musician and founder of the music department of the National University of Cuyo (UNCuyo), and Alejandrina Suárez, the first female organist in Argentina. She graduated in philosophy in 1980 at UNCuyo and began a career in academia and public administration, including for the provincial governments of Mendoza and Buenos Aires Provinces and the Argentine Chamber of Deputies. From 1993 to 1995 she was President of the Institute of Women of Mendoza.[1]

Perceval followed other left-wing Peronists into the FrePaSo coalition but later returned to the Justicialist Party. She was elected to the Senate in 2003. She is President of the Defence Committee. In 2007 she unsuccessfully stood as the running mate of César Biffi in the election of Governor of Mendoza, despite being seen as the candidates of outgoing governor Julio Cobos. She is close to President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
