María José Rienda

María José Rienda Contreras (born June 12, 1975 in Granada) is a Spanish alpine skier.
Rienda won the last two giant slaloms in the 2004/05 season. This was the first victory for a Spanish skier since Blanca Fernández Ochoa in 1991. So far, she has 6 World Cup victories.
Rienda represented Spain in 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics. She missed the 2006/07 season and most of the 2007/08 season because of an injury.
