Español: La mujer aparece desnuda, sensualmente tumbada sobre un paño de seda labrada, creando con su postura un acertado escorzo. Junto a ella observamos a un músico tocando un laúd, quedando en una zona ensombrecida mientras la odalisca está iluminada por un potente foco de luz que resalta la sensualidad de su desnudez. Al fondo apreciamos diversos objetos de clara inspiración árabe como un arcón de madera labrada con decoración geométrica, una bandeja de plata o una pipa de agua junto a una pequeña taza de té.
