In the current list (of 25 games), I believe that a significant portion may not belong here.

  • Doki Doki Panic - though very closely related, clearly not a Mario game.
  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis - a puzzle, not platform game.
  • Donkey Kong Classics - should be in subcategory Category:Mario platform game remakes.
  • Super Mario FX - cancelled early in production.
  • Super Mario 64 2 - cancelled, was only a single-level demo.
  • Super Mario 128 - unreleased, potentially just a set of tech demos.
  • Super Mario's Wacky Worlds - cancelled.

I propose creating an "Unreleased Mario games" sub-category for the last four games and moving the first three to more appropriate categories. --Heywood 18:36, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

An "Unrleased Mario games" sub-category might be a good idea. Since this topic has stayed here for some time and no one else has commented, I'm going to go ahead and do that. Seth0708 04:03, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

This was addressed with the creation of Category:Unofficial Mario platform games. --Heywood
