[edit] West Germany joining date

In this map, ‘Map of NATO countries chronological membership’, the date of West Germany joining NATO is given as 1954 which unfortunately contradicts the main article History section, which says “The incorporation of West Germany into the organization on 9 May 1955...”, and also contradicts a table in the main article that lists the membership and the dates they joined, that says West Germany joined NATO on 9th of May 1955. The map below this one, ‘titled Membership of NATO in Europe’, has West Germany coloured in as joining in 1955, again contradicting this map.

[edit] Islands

The French island of Corsica and Italian islands of Sardinia and Sicily have been missed. I might try to correct this later. --Astrokey44 08:33, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] What about Saarland?

Didn't it join in 1957? - rst20xx (talk) 17:01, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blinking

Can we turn the blinking off? Having the different colors is great, and I think eliminates the need for blinking, which is distracting. —ScouterSig 20:00, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
