Based on score by Scott Joplin (1868-1917), originally published in 1899. Most of the practise for this recording was done with reference to a compilation of Joplin ragtimes published in 1994 by Könemann Music Budapest. However careful comparison by ear and eye with the original score, which is hosted by the Mutopia project [1], found no musical differences whatsoever. Thus I assert that the compiler has made no creative input to this recording, and has no claim to copyright. Any rights which fall to me as the performer, I hereby revoke, to the extent permitted by law. To the best of my knowledge, this recording may be distributed with no restrictions whatsoever. -- Tim Starling 00:56, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
