[edit] Summary

A traditional skin color map based on the data of Biasutti. Data for native populations collected by R. Biasutti prior to 1940.

Sources: [1], [2]

Reflectance spectrophotometry is a much more modern way of measurement of human skin color. See Jablonski's work: [3]

Note: Based on the map here [4] but without the 'white' streak across Morocco and Algeria. Filled it with an intermediate skin tone value, like Biasutti's own map shows.
