Removed text dump of the "Blocked?" template. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:24, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

damn!

  • Maoririder, have you considered not editing from that IP address? Apparently, a vandal also uses that IP address and has been making legal threats. That would solve the problem if you didn't edit from there. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 17:25, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

whatever unblock it sandove89 remember him?? i got rid of him your lucky unblock that was e you dence!

lords of acid or DJ Tiesto did Clockwork Orange double check http://users.pandora.be/corillis/DJ%20Tiesto-%20Clockwork%20Orange.mp3 DJ Tiesto!

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to say. I didn't block that IP address, and I'm telling you that that IP address will most likely be continued to be blocked in the future because a vandal shares that IP address. I can't keep on unblocking it when a block is warranted on that vandal. Have you considered not editing from there? That would solve the problem. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 17:31, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

now you know why iam frustrated the vandal is not me but i cant help but use ip number hope the vandal goes away. how long is the block up for?? Maoririder 17:35, 19 December 2005 (UTC) i need to edit.. or i will be forced to use articles creation because you people call me niggers??

you revert me redneck niggerz why did lucky 6.9. say he block and now cello is saying he wanted to a long time ago... fa

I understand your frustration, but what I'm saying is that another vandal also uses the same IP address you use. I have never blocked that IP address before, but other admins have. I can't go around unblocking justified blocks everytime simply because another editor also uses the IP address. You understand this, don't you? And you write, "and now cello is saying he wanted to a long time ago... fa" - I'm not sure what you mean by this. I certainly don't want you blocked, and I did not want to a long time ago. Please clarify your comments. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 17:47, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
P.S. I have something else to do now; I will return to Wikipedia in a few hours. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 17:48, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for creation

Maoririder, Wikipedia:Articles for creation is for anonymous Users to request articles to be added which they have already written. Since you are a logged-in user, you create articles any time you want. Wikipedia:Articles for creation is not for logged-in users to make article requests. Zoe (216.234.130.130 22:05, 12 December 2005 (UTC))

  • Maoririder, you appear to share an IP address with multiple very persistent, very severe vandals. Are you editing from a public place such as a library or school? (Please don't tell me exactly where, of course!) (ESkog)(Talk) 17:41, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

Back to the beginning...

Maoririder, it seems that you have completely forgotten all the advice we have tried to give you here, and are again creating several tiny one-sentence articles. I must again urge you to respond to Ficelloguy's message and accept the mentorship. And please, please, do not create a stub until you can write three good sentences about the subject! (ESkog)(Talk) 20:44, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

Please expand the single sentence text a little bit. A references are also needed. Pavel Vozenilek 18:31, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

Tags, take 3

Remember our conversations about tags? Please remember that you should only put one tag (or, in extreme cases, two) on any single article. Once that tag has been dealt with, we can move to another. It looks really ugly to have an article that's two sentences long with four big boxes telling us about everything the article doesn't have yet. Also remember that the reqimage tag should only go on talk pages. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:40, 15 December 2005 (UTC) wikify or cleanup?? Maoririder 18:42, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

  • It doesn't matter which you choose. If you put wikify on there, there is a team of Wikipedians who will get to wikifying the article. If you put cleanup on there, we have a taskforce to deal with that also. But I would suggest you wait until one of those happens before you add to it. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:48, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

what works better wiki or clean?? wiki means bold and ? clean just cleans the page to make it look better? Maoririder 18:49, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

  • One isn't "better" than the other. Wikify means to add our formatting and proper linking to the article. Cleanup means to work on the grammar and organization. They do overlap somewhat, but they do different things. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:51, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

Mike sica

Do you have any source for this information? I think the last three WSOP wins went to some Australian fellow, Greg Raymer, and Chris Moneymaker... (ESkog)(Talk) 18:51, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Your first article

Maoririder, I would suggest (like Ficelloguy above) that you read Wikipedia:Your first article before you create anything else new. It has some great suggestions for how to write a good article, and expand your one-sentence stubs into a real starting point for an article. Let me know when you've read it and if you have any questions. (ESkog)(Talk) 20:14, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

thanksMaoririder 20:16, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

Maoririder, I noticed that you said you were pissed on your talk page. Is there anything we can do to lower your stress? Remember, we're all here as volunteers; I understand that trying to improve can be frustrating at times. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 20:33, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

whatever cello.. its okay. Maoririder 20:38, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

Alright... just remember, if the going ever gets tough, just let us know - we're here to support you and to encourage you. I've certainly been frustrated in the past before. :-) Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 20:42, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
Well, that's what I'm here for. :-) Do you have any specific questions regarding your contributions or how to improve them? Also, if you feel frustrated, why don't you take some time off? A short wikibreak can work wonders and calm you down. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 20:48, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi Maoririder! I see you're pissed off at the moment. Here's a nice long hot bath to soak away your stress and make you calmer and happier. Dive in and enjoy. And be happy! ➨ REDVERS 21:40, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

NWO Versus WCW

Hey Maoririder, I see you've added a few more articles today, including NWO Versus WCW. Can I suggest you check out what I've done to the article to make it into a brief stub, with a more neutral and encyclopedic tone? If you can get used to adding a stub template to your new articles then it'll help you and everyone to improve your articles! You should be able to find a comprehensive list of stubs here - Stubs. Ferry Beach and others

Hey, don't forget to add suitable stubs to your new articles if you can find one that fits what you're writing about. Budgiekiller 20:31, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

I'm trying

I'm doing what I can. Sometimes your articles are not really what we want here on Wikipedia, so other editors may tag them for deletion, or redirect them to larger pages which contain the topic (like Budgiekiller did with Jayla). We're all on the same team here - we want to make Wikipedia a great encyclopedia, and we'd like to see you - and all of our editors - become great contributors. Your creations are always useful to a point - for example, I didn't know that Clockwork Orange was a techno song; that fact is now reflected in the article, and we have a link on the page to the group who created it. Let me know if there is a specific article or two that you would like me to help you out on, or I'll just keep doing what I have been doing and helping you clean up all your contributions. No personal attacks

Maoririder, you need to be careful when dealing with other editors, no matter how frustrated you get. We have a strict policy that you should not personally attack another editor, and this can be punishable by blocking you from editing Wikipedia. I don't want to have to ask an admin to step in and do that, but you do need to remove that from your user page. (ESkog)(Talk) 21:46, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

Um, reality check - it should be removed anyway, regardless of whether Maoririder does it. It's plain offensive (in its own way) and shouldn't be there. Budgiekiller 21:50, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
Good call. Done. (ESkog)(Talk) 21:52, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
Cheers. Budgiekiller 21:55, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

You need to start taking people's advice or else you will be considered a vandal

Dear User:Maoririder:

Many people have been trying to help you become a productive member of the Wikipedia community. However, you continue to create sub-stubs that are repeatedly redirected to articles about games, leave edit summaries that provide no useful information, and beg to be mentored, with almost no change in behavior. People have pleaded with you to wikify what you write, and you have almost never done that. People have urged you to stop creating articles and do substantial work on the ones you've already created, and you have basically ignored that advice.

In short, you are creating a huge amount of work for others, without contributing much (if any) content, and you do it at lightning speed.

If you continue any of these behaviors, it will be seen as evidence that you are not willing to comply with Wikipedia's standards.

Many people have assumed good faith about you, but that period has come to an end.

Sincerely, BCorr|Брайен 22:50, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

Dear Maoririder,

The reference desk is not for soliciting people to talk about who will win a sporting event, and encouraging people to do so" and to COME ON AND PLAY" is unacceptable. In addition, if it was not clear from the above note, adding templates to articles asking others to clean them up, add images, etc. is also creating work for others and is not acceptable behavior for you considering your history. If you wish to clean them up, that would be wonderful, but otherwise you should cease adding any templates until you have completely changed your ways.

This is your last notification.

Sincerely, BCorr|Брайен 23:14, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

Bcorr what the **** you blocked me you *** brian that. 169 ip look wikipedians you *** blocked me. Maoririder 16:56, 19 December 2005 (UTC) lucky thanks alot. you are no friend.
Maoririder: This account is not blocked -- that could happen if you don't follow the above advice. Also, if you just left a message on User talk:169.244.143.115, it is possible that you are editing on the exact same computer as that one, so that that block is visible to you, but if you are logged in that shouldn't have any effect. Could you please explain?
Thanks, BCorr|Брайен 17:00, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

listen bcorr i got my lawyer on your *** so listen please unblock User talk:169.244.143.115, ya know why because i got **** i got to do word.

Regarding your legal threats

Maoririder: this is not allowed.

Don't make legal threats against other users of Wikipedia. Apart from being incivil, doing so causes a number of serious problems:

  • It severely inhibits free editing of pages, a concept that is absolutely necessary to ensure that Wikipedia remains neutral. Without this freedom, we risk one side of a dispute intimidating the other, thus causing a systematic bias in our articles.
  • It causes bad feelings and a lack of trust amongst the Wikipedia community, damaging our ability to proceed quickly and efficiently and with an assumption of mutual good faith.
  • Wikipedia has had bad experiences with users who have made legal threats in the past, and by making legal threats, you may damage your reputation on Wikipedia.
  • A legal threat may lead to you being blocked from editing (on a case by case basis), so as not to exacerbate the problem through other than legal channels.

Instead, first attempt to resolve disputes using the dispute resolution procedures. This will oftentimes lead to a solution without resorting to the blunt tool of the law. If the dispute resolution procedures do not resolve your problem then you can use the law in the knowledge that you have taken all reasonable steps to resolve the situation amicably.

But, if you really feel the need to take legal action, we cannot prevent you from doing so. However, we ask that if you do so then you do not edit Wikipedia until the matter of law is settled, one way or the other, to ensure that all legal processes happen via proper legal channels.

If you do decide to proceed with legal action, you should deal with it privately with the user by e-mail. Do not thrash out the issue in a Wikipedia forum or talk page; you may find that other users take the side of the other party. (Would you really want to sue a group of users if that happened?) If your issue involves Wikipedia itself, you should contact Wikipedia's parent organisation, the Wikimedia Foundation.

For more information please see Wikipedia:No legal threats.

Sincerely, BCorr|Брайен 17:06, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Bcorr now your treatening me get off! my go harass someone else you racist.
Just for the record -- I did not threaten you. You threatened me and I have simply explained the relevant and applicable official Wikipedia policy regarding your threat. And, just FYI, no one has called me racist before. Looking farther up this page, you seem to be the one who has gotten in trouble for references to the N word
Sincerely, BCorr|Брайен 17:15, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

  • Maoririder, as Bcorr explained above, your recent behavior is very troubling to us. You have threatened multiple users with legal action, referred to multiple users with racial slurs, and been extremely disruptive and combative with those of us who have been trying to help you for a long time. I don't want to speak for Tony, but I suspect that he defended you before because you had not actually violated any of our policies in creating a lot of cleanup work for other editors. This may not be something you can count on anymore. When you are ready to cooperate with us again and contribute to the encyclopedia, let me know. Until then I'm done trying. do i recall hearing niggaz?? why you say that?? android79? Maoririder 21:15, 19 December 2005 (UTC) you think bcorr is blocking me because you got me blocked by nizz

Look, Maoririder, no one has blocked you. The IP address you edit from has been blocked because a vandal apparently also uses the IP address. While I usually unblock for collateral damage, there's nothing I can do in this case because the user at the IP address was not only vandalising but making legal threats. The IP address was blocked for a week by brian0918. Contribute from home instead; can you live with not editing from that IP address for a week? Also, please refrain from using derogatory (insulting) names - I don't care if someone has used those names to you in the past (which I don't see any evidence of, by the way); you don't repeat them. Insults won't do anything and accomplish nothing. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 21:23, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Racial slurs

Maoririder, in reviewing everything that has been said, I cannot find anyone ever using the n-word to refer to you. Quite the opposite - you use it as an insult to Android (edit has since been deleted from history as a personal attack) and are now using it on mainspace pages (I have reverted your edit to Talk:Endurance Hawaii). Please stop, as this behavior is completely inappropriate to Wikipedia. (ESkog)(Talk) 21:30, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Bcorr you dont think the mentoring helped so you say lets block this stupid nigga forever that seems very unfair to me and I hope other people think so too. {{unblock}} if you dare?? is that a trick question. vandal nah.. Blocked
You have been blocked for vandalism for indefinitely. To contest this block, add the text {{unblock}} on this page, along with an explanation of why you believe this block to be unjustified. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia after the block has expired, you will be blocked for longer and longer periods of time.

Please do not erase warnings on this page. Doing so may be considered disruptive. alphachimp. 02:26, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Note: This has come about after your edit here as part of your ongoing attempts to use the N word as much as possible to elicit negative reaction from those who have tried to mentor and help you become a productive Wikipedian-- BCorr|Брайен 03:41, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

Re-blocked

Maoririder, I have (with the other admins' consent) blocked you for a week instead. I cannot convey to you the seriousness and gravity of the situation you are in - you have had an Arbitration case filed against you that resulted in mentorship, and now you have insulted and used racial slurs against many respected Wikipedians and made legal threats, while not improving your article-creation behavior. I am extremely disappointed in your actions and frankly, you should be as well. Normally, you would have been indefinitely blocked. However, because you are still under mentorship and I believe that you can improve, I've re-blocked you for a week instead. Please use this time to cool down and reflect on your behavior this past week; also, please take time to read Wikipedia:Your first article and indicate here on your talk page that you have done so. Please also understand that I will not hesistate to block you for longer periods in the future if this kind of behavior persists. Also, please be aware that if you do not read Wikipedia:Your first article and indicate so here, I will delete future article creations. You must start helping yourself first before we can help you, and you must read Wikipedia:Your first article. Once again, Maoririder, I cannot tell you how imperative it is to you that you start listening not only to me, but to everyone here who has been trying to help you. Your future here at Wikipedia is at stake, and I sincerely hope that you will take this week to improve yourself. Don't let us down - we all have faith in you that you can and will improve. If you have any questions, don't hesistate to ask me here; I've got this page watchlisted. Thanks for your understanding, and happy holidays. I'll see you in a week. Flcelloguy (A note?) 00:31, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

P.S. If you want to know the specific reasons why you were blocked, here they are: you kept on using the n-word, which is considered extremely insulting and derogatory, you kept on insulting people who tried to help you, and you made legal threats by mentioning lawyers. Naturally, I expect that you will not repeat any of those actions; I will not tolerate future abuses like that. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 00:35, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

That sounds fair cello and really i need to cool down! I mean that deep down man really sorry. User is blocked

Glad to see that you're willing to improve. The block on the IP address will expire at the same time your block does, so it shouldn't affect you. Thanks! (Another friendly reminder: read Wikipedia:Your first article and say so here.) Thanks a lot! Flcelloguy (A note?) 21:05, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

Maori...? It's your old pal, Lucky 6.9. Flcelloguy is one of the most respected users here and if he's willing to help you, take the help. Relax for a few days. Get Wikipedia out of your system. Lord knows I need to do it every so often. Just keep in mind that if you get permanently blocked, it's not my place (or any administrator's) to unblock you. If you need to talk, e-mail me. If not, do like I suggested and just relax. - Lucky 6.9 08:19, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

Jingofetts?

Hi, Maori. Hope you had a merry Christmas. I know you enjoy editing on Wikipedia, but please don't try and avoid a brief block by creating sockpuppet accounts. I'm pretty sure that you and Jingofetts are one and the same. Normally, if you want to edit under different names, that's OK. Using a second account to avoid a block is a no-no. Here to help you, pal. Do the right thing.  :) - Lucky 6.9 21:49, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
