Maoist Communist Party (Turkish: Maoist Komünist Partisi) is a clandestine communist organization in Turkey currently waging a war against Turkish Government.[1] It was founded in 1994 when a faction split from TKP/ML.[2] MKP is a part of Revolutionary Internationalist Movement[3] and participates in the Conference of Communist and Workers’ Parties of the Balkans.[4]

The armed wing of the party is named Peoples' Liberation Army (Turkish: HKO - Halk Kurtuluş Ordusu).[5]

The party organ is called Devrimci Demokrasi (Revolutionary Democracy).[6]
