Thanks to Wikipedia am able to introduce the greatest football writer to a whole new generation of fans worldwide. Been following football since Italia 90 and subsequently the English league and Manchester United. This page about Geoffrey Green is my creation, born out of need to assemble the bio of this great writer and his uncomparable body of work. Green's article 'A New Conception of Footbal' following the defeat of England to Hungary in 1953 is perhaps the best critique and analysis of the state of football ever written. Thank You.
