Talk:Manuel Sadosky

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Same as Juan María Gutiérrez: Is there some theorem that he formulated and proved?--kiddo 05:33, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Are you implying that Sadosky was not a true mathematician (c) ?
His thesis was titled Sobre los métodos de resolución aproximada de ciertas ecuaciones de la Físicomatemática.

But the theorems are? I mean, if he was a mathematician, it shouldn't be difficult to locate at least one, right? --kiddo 02:30, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Maybe you are confusing him with Cora Ratto de Sadosky. She gave the impression of really be a mathematician...--kiddo 02:45, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
You see, Sadosky was an applied mathematician. I bet he did prove theorems (I did it myself, once) but his claim to fame is not your customary Sadosky's Theorem, as his article clearly shows.
OTOH, I try very hard not to confuse a man with his wife -saves me embarrasing situations.
Their daughter is also a commited mathematician and theorem prover: [1]
