Talk:Manu'a

[edit] To will vs. desire
Very good. It would be verifiable if actually in a will somewhere; otherwise assumes too much. I'll defer until an actual will can be produced - Marshman 04:06, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed date
The cited source (Manu'a ma Ameriika) is very clear that the date was 1900. There was a second ceremony, which may be the official one (on July 14, 1904, Tuimanu'a signed the Deed of Cessation). I think it would be more appropriate to put your addition:
- in the land area called Lalopua. The land Lalopua being the Crown residence of the Tuimanu'a called the Faleula (Official documents of the Tuimanu'a government, 1893).
under the description of that historical event in 1904 once that partt of the history is written. - Marshman 18:37, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
