- Dr. Manning J. Dauer was the person responsible for re-apportioning the state of Florida. This was done so that fairness could be achieved in the voting Districts in the state of Florida. This was ordered by the U.S. Supreme Court.
- In addition he was a Professor & Chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of Florida. This is also an official UF Wikipedia Project Edit as well.
