[edit] Dish is notable, but title is not WP:NC

The recipe needs to be checked. The leaves (maniva) are boiled with pork fat (banha) for about 7 days, and the order of adding the jerked meat, salted pigs's feet, and pork is important. The dish calls for hot sauce made from yellow Capsicum peppers ("pimenta de cheiro"). The first historical record I have found of this dish is a Latin ms by the Italian Jesuit mathematician Brunelli from about 1780, but the practice of consuming boiled cassava leaves is current with many indigenous Amazonian groups and no doubt predates conquest.--Wloveral (talk) 18:54, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

What's wrong with the title? Unless there's an English equivalent (and I know of no such equivalent), then this title meets WP:NC(UE) just fine. We might want to make a #REDIRECT from Manicoba though. What exactly is your concern with the title? -- ShinmaWa(talk) 21:03, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
