[edit] Re: History and attempted trip to South Africa.

John Mitchell did not travel to South Africa with the Dunnes Store strikers. It's possible that Brendan Archbold who was their full-time official and branch secretary (Dublin Grocery Branch of IDATU) may have travelled with them. Will check.
