The Many-tentacled jellyfish (Zygodactyla groenlandica) is a medusa jellyfish found off the Atlantic coastline of the United States, Canada, and Greenland. Reaching a maximum diameter of roughly five inches, specimens have been found with more than a hundred tentacles, earning the jellyfish its name. Specimens found in northern waters tend to be transparent, while those found farther south are tinted pink.
