Manukau Institute of Technology is a large Institute of Technology in Manukau City, New Zealand.

Manukau Institute of Technology is located on two campuses in Otara. 30 minutes from auckland central and 5 minutes from manukau city.

Manukau Institute of Technology was opened in 1970 as Manukau Technical Institute.

Manukau Institute of Technology and the University of Auckland formed a strategic alliance in 1996 to benefit the students of both institutions.
