Manuel de Lardizábal y Uribe

Manuel Miguel de Lardizábal y Uribe (1744 – 1820)[1] was a Mexican penologist[2] who was an academician of the Real Academia Española de la Lengua from 1775 to 1820.[3] He seems to have been the successor to chair C of his father in law, Academician from 1746 to 1775 Francisco Antonio de Angulo.
This Francisco Antonio de Angulo was Secretary of the Council of King Carlos III of Spain, Secretary of the King personal Council, Academic and Secretary of the Royal Spanish Academy and received on 7h december 1770 the King permission, through the Marqués de Grimaldi, [[Jerónimo Grimaldi,++, First Secretary of the Spanish Royal Council to print the edition of the "Diccionario de la Real Academia Española de la Lengua", achieved after some 65 years of careful research by former and present Academicians.
