Manuel Duarte

Manuel Almeida Duarte (born Celorico, 29 May 1945) was a Portuguese footballer. He played as a forward for Leixões, Sporting Lisbon and FC Porto.

A promising young player for Leixões, he was capped twice, before the 1966 World Cup finals, at 26 June 1966, in a 3-0 win over Uruguay, and 3 July 1966, in a 1-0 win over Romania, both friendly matches.

He was selected for the 22 squad that were present at the 1966 World Cup finals, in England, as the only Leixões player, but he was never capped again in his career.
