Mantas Kalnietis (born September 6, 1986 in Kaunas, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union (present Lithuania)) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player, currently playing as a shooting guard for Žalgiris Kaunas and the Lithuania national team.

He is 6 ft 4 in (1.94 m) and he weighs 79 kg. He grew up with Žalgiris junior team where he started to play in the Lithuanian second best league LKAL for Žalgiris-A.Sabonis school.

Kalnietis debuted with high marks in February of 2006 when he switched from junior team to Žalgiris Kaunas and played 10 games in LKL, averaging 5.1 points per game in 17.5 minutes playtime. Everyone was surprised by the decision of head coach Antanas Sireika to let Kalnietis participate at the Top 16 level in 4 Euroleagues games he played, where he proofed himself from the good side considering his young age and posted 6.8 points per game shooting two-pointers at 64.7%. He was on the floor a lot for two Lithuanian national teams in the summer of 2006, including the men at the World Championships, where he led the team in assists.
