Manoucher Yektai (born December 22, 1922 in Tehran, Iran) belongs to the New York School Abstract Expressionist artists.

He dropped out of Tehran University, Fine Arts Faculty, without obtaining degree. He studied 1945 and 1947 with Amédée Ozenfant in Paris, France and later in New York City. also He studied from 1946 to 1947 at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and at the Atalier of Andre Lhote, Paris, France. In 1947 and 1948 he studied at the Art Students League of New York with Robert Hale in New York City.

In 1959 he became a US citizen.
