Ivanka pri Dunaji was documentary founded in 1209 as terra Ivan. It is located about 14 km from Bratislava (centre) to the North-east. The manor looks as a romatic building in the park with distinct silhouette. It was built in rococo style in the third quarter of the 18. century for the family of Grassalkovichovic. At the beginnig of the 20. century it was altered by the order of the family of Hunady. Today, the manor is a two-floored building with an architectonic arrangement that originates in ideals of medieval architecture, combination of romanesque and gothic elements on facade, e.g. oriels, balconies, windows, ... The polygonal tower ended with headpiece is in Art Nouveau style. Representation manor was originally surrounded by an extensive french park.
