Manolete is a 2007 biopic of bullfighter Manuel Laureano Rodríguez Sánchez.
The film was written and directed by Menno Meyjes. Academy Award-winning actor Adrien Brody starred in the lead role as Manolete. Penélope Cruz starred as his lover, Lupe Sino.
The film begins with Manolete's last day in Linares. It goes back through his tulmultous romance with actress Lupe Sino.

Adrien Brody as Manuel Laureano Rodríguez Sánchez aka "Manolete", a famous Spanish bullfighter. He rose to prominence shortly after the Spanish Civil War. He is considered by some to be the greatest bullfighter of all time.
