Manna house

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Manna House was a Christian commune established in 1972 at Omena, Michigan near Suttons Bay in the lower peninsula. Manna House was founded by Kip Diotte, a lay minister of the House Church movement of the 1970s.

The residence and church of Manna House was located on the Manitou Trail Highway, one mile south of the Village of Omena. The main house was previously the Cloverleaf summer resort built in the early 1900s and whose buildings had been boarded up for 15 years. The commune held weekly worship services until 1976, at which time the Church was disbanded.
