Manly Hospital provides medical services to the Northern Beaches area of Sydney, Australia. The official homepage contains a brief history of the hospital from 1810 until the present day.[1]

The Northern Sydney and Central Coast Health Service is responsible for the management of Manly Hospital.

[edit] Future of Manly Hospital

The future of Manly and Mona Vale Hospitals had been the subject of considerable public debate.

On 30 March 2006, the NSW Minister for Health announced that a new hospital would be built in Frenchs Forest and that Manly and Mona Vale Hospitals would be downgraded. The new hospital is expected to be complete by 2012.
