Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey (born September 10, 1989 in Karnataka) is an Indian first class cricketer. He is a right handed middle order batsman. Pandey represents Karnataka in first class cricket.[1] He was a member of the victorious Indian team in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup held in Malaysia. He represented Mumbai Indians in the 2008 Indian Premier League. The 18-year-old from Karnataka was one among the 14 other players who won the ICC under-19 World Cup recently in Kuala Lumpur, were selected for Indian Premier League teams through a draw at the second auction of cricketers in Mumbai.[2]

  • Began playing when he was in the third standard and has represented Karnataka and India U19s.
  • Was a member of the India 2008 Under-19 World Cupheld in Malaysia
  • In the triangular U/19 event he helped seal India's victory by scoring 51 runs against Bangladesh and 72 in the final against the same team.
