Monirampur is located at 23.0167° N 89.2333° E . It has 59615 units of house hold and total area 444.7 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Monirampur has a population of 326093. Males constitute are 51% of the population, and females 49%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 168903. Manirampur has an average literacy rate of 29.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
