Manik Mulla

Manik Mulla is a fictional character of the novel Suraj ka Satvan Ghoda(Seventh Horse of the Sun) by Dharamvir Bharati. He plays a central role who narrates his friends some stories of his life across five afternoons. These stories revolve around various women who enter into his life. He proves through his stories that socio economic conditions are pivotal in any relationship. Bharati's character provides a unique insight into the plight of the Indian middle class.

Rajit Kapoor plays the character in the national Award winning movie version directed by Shyam Benegal, a noted Indian director.
