MNN's diverse shows include but are not limited to news, talk shows, interviews, debates, documentaries, travelogues, live music, and sketch comedy. The programs range from local to international in scope, and reach up to 3 million viewers around Manhattan.

Broadcasting more than 1200 active shows in 20 languages, 24 hours a day, MNN programming reflects the diverse communities that make up Manhattan. MNN also streams all programming live online at mnn.org [1]; many MNN shows reach a national and international audience. Sometimes controversial, always gritty and real, MNN is the pulse of New York City,[citation needed] because the programming is made by and for New Yorkers.
