[edit] History
Manhattan Associates was originally founded around a single warehouse management software package for the IBM AS/400 platform. This package was developed for the retail clothing industry and was named PickTicket Management System (PkMS).[2]
The name Manhattan stems from the founders origins in Manhattan Beach, CA before the company relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.
