Manhattan (song)

"Manhattan" is a popular song. It has been performed by Lee Wiley, Blossom Dearie and Ella Fitzgerald, among others. It was also performed by Anne Bancroft, in the role of a lounge singer, in the 1952 movie Don't Bother to Knock.

The music was written by Richard Rodgers, the lyrics by Lorenz Hart, for the revue "Garrick Gaieties". The song was published in 1925. Sometimes called I'll Take Manhattan." [1]
