Mangualde (pron. IPA[mɐ̃'gwaɫd(ɨ)]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 219.3 km² and a total population of 21,158 inhabitants. The city itself has a population of 6,695.[1]

The municipality is composed of 18 parishes and is located in the district Viseu.

The present mayor is António Soares Marques, elected by the Social Democratic Party

The municipal holiday is September 8.
