This is a fertilizer factory located in Mangalore opposite the New Mangalore Port on the other side of the national highway NH-17.The company produces fertilizers like urea,DAP and special nutrients and chemicals under the brand name of Mangala.The company was started by government of Karnataka.The company's management was subsequently sold to Vijay Mallya's UB Group during tenure of Veerendra Patil's as Karnataka's chief minister.
