Maney Publishing is an independent publisher of academic journals and books. Founded in 1900, the company has offices in the UK in Leeds and London, and Boston, North America. Maney offers individual publishing arrangements customised to a society's needs; a high level of personal contact at all levels; maintains high traditional standards of materials and production; and publishes extensively in electronic form.
The company employs forty staff, produce some 80 journals, and have a list of 300 academic books. Subject strengths include materials science and engineering; a growing biomedical portfolio; archaeology and architectural history; the decorative arts; modern languages, literature and cultural studies; and social and economic history.
