[edit] History
Manchester Orchestra originated in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. During vocalist Andy Hull’s junior year in high school, his talent as a songwriter was garnering the attention of fans and industry types alike. Hull opted to be home schooled his senior year of high school, so he could focus on writing and recording an album.[1]
Early in their career, the band recorded an album entitled Nobody Sings Anymore; however, it was never released due to the shift in the band's musical direction and personnel changes undergone following its recording. The band stated that "the band that made the record was different to the band now." Although, they have stated that it may be released at some point in the future. Some of the tracks written for the album were instead released on You Brainstorm, I Brainstorm, but Brilliance Needs a Good Editor.[2]
The band is currently in the studio recording their second EP with producer Dan Hannon of One Atlanta Music.
