Manarcaud is a small town in Kottayam district of Kerala state, south India. It is known for the Manarcaud Perunnal, the annual feast at the St. Mary's Church,which is usually held in the first few days of September. It is located about 9 km from the town of Kottayam and is on the way to tourist town of Thekkady.

Manarcaud is known for 'Manarcaud Perunnal' the annual feast at the St. Mary's Church. This is usually held every year from 1st of September to 8th of September. It is located at a distance of about 9 km from Kottayam.
Manarcaud also has a Hindu temple. Local people believe that Mother Mary and Mother Kali are sisters and that Manarcaud is a good example for religious harmony.

The majority of the population were farmers, but recently there is not much agricultural land. Manarcaud became a satellite of Kottayam town, and it is a residential area.
Manarcaud has became one of the most densily populated villages in Kerala.
Manarcad has the "Monarc Bar", which serves liquor.

Few paddy fields remain unaltered. Surrounding villages have rubber and pineapple plantations.

One of the main attractions of this small town is the annual feast of St Mary which is celebrated from September first through September eighth every year. On seventh day of the feast a very old image of Mary unveiled for devotees and this known as nadathurakkal. The Church attracts thousands of people and is 1200 years old.

Manrcaud has its own sports history.there is a variety of football Naadan panthukali in which they use a small leather ball of size of a cricket ball. This game has five innings and normally it will take three hours to get finished.
