Management Information Systems Quarterly (MISQ or MIS Quarterly) is an academic journal that publishes original peer-reviewed research articles in the areas of Information Systems and Information Technology. Along with Information Systems Research, MISQ is widely regarded by IS/IT researchers as one of the two most prestigious journals in the information systems discipline (Ferratt 2007, Galletta 2007). MISQ is published by the MIS Research Center at the University of Minnesota. The current editor-in-chief of MIS Quarterly is Carol Saunders.

MISQ describes its objectives as:

"...the enhancement and communication of knowledge concerning the development of IT-based services, the management of information technology resources, and the economics and use of information technology with managerial and organizational implications." [1]
