[edit] History

Management and Science University has its origins from the Advanced Technology and Management Centre (PTPL). Established in 1996, it started out as one of the smallest colleges in Malaysia with an enrolment of only 300 students and it was the first private college in Malaysia to be awarded accreditation by the National Accreditation Board (LAN).[1]

In 2001, the Ministry of Education extended an invitation to the management of Advanced Technology and Management Centre (PTPL) to establish a university college.[2]Hence the genesis of University College of Technology and Management Malaysia (KUTPM).

The university college was inaugurated as a university in 2007, under the name Management and Science University (MSU). In 2007, Management and Science University opened an international branch campus in Bangalore, India[3], which focuses solely on Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medicine programmes.
