ManaSonic Music is a music label that takes a refreshing look at the ever-changing music industry in an effort to revolutionize the artist-label relationship. The label is Scott Mathews' most recent venture.

The fundamental purpose behind ManaSonic Music is to create a music label that removes the frustration associated with dealing with large labels. According to Mathews, the project was started to create a space where "musicians can be musicians" and "music is done right." The label's tenets of operation are a dedication to transparency and fairness for all parties involved in the music process.

The name of ManaSonic comes from the Polynesian word "Mana" meaning 'god of the supernatural.' The name promotes a sense of self-determination, success, and supernatural innovation.

The integral aspect of ManaSonic music is SonicCity, www.sonicccity.com, an innovative website that aims to create an online community dedicated to the exchange, cultivation, and promotion of songs, artists, and albums. As a member of the site, patrons will have the opportunity to watch exclusive interviews and music videos, interact with artists, and listen to streaming music. In addition, the site will offer music downloads of many of the artists featured on the site.

SonicCity, the website, is a virtual city composed of neighborhoods dedicated to all genres of music.

Artists signed with ManaSonic Music have an opportunity to record in TikiTown Studios. TikiTown Studios is a private, state-of-the-art boutique studio located near the base of the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County, California. TikiTown has earned the reputation as a haven for aspiring artists as well as legends. TikiTown has all the comforts of a home, a gym, a music museum. In addition, while writing and recording music, artists can enjoy views of the San Francisco bay. TikiTown is furnished with state-of-the-art music equipment (both vintage and new) allowing for a private oasis that inspires creativity.
