David R. Ingha made this calculation with MandelZot (free-ware) and processed it with Adobe PhotoShop. The coordinates are from "Wayne's parameter files", which came with the free-ware. It took almost a day to calculate on an eMac, because MandelZot is in 680x0 code. The color-set and anti-aliasing are original.
Since the Mandelbrot set has no Avogadro's Number or h bar, it benefits from anti-aliasing.
center (0.348599, 0.348599), magnification 682.667, maximum dwell 32765. calculation width x height 7290 x 4860. 433.000th root scaling to make dwell bands large enough at high dwells.
Processed with gaussian blur to anti alias, bi-cubic interpolation (standard) down-size, sharpen to compensate for tails of gaussian filter. This results in more like a sinc function filter. The idea is to average out random aliasing within each pixel, but to keep the final pixels more or less independent.
