Category:Man-to-man wargames
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Man-to-man wargames are a category of wargames in which the main units (depicted by "pieces" or "counters" in board wargaming) represent a single person. There are five possible levels of conflict simulation in wargaming, with Man-to-man being the lowest end of the spectrum (the highest is grand strategy game).
In recent years, some computer games have also billed themselves as "man-to-man", though these games are generally referred to instead as first-person shooters, soldier sims or tactical shooters. True third-person man-to-man representations are exceedingly rare in computer wargaming, though examples can be found in the tactical role-playing game genre.
