This article should be more neutral and note sound like a hate article against mamak stalls. Negative allegations should be properly cited even though some claims might be true.Wai Hong 09:17, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

I agree, especially the "Negative aspects of mamak eateries", very obvious 'negative' there. L joo 15:24, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Minor errors

Partially corrected some obvious grammatical errors although on the holistic appearance it does still seem rather confusing and misleading. Dat789 13:39, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Derogatory?

is the term "mamak" apt? although it is part of regular malaysian dialogue, indian muslims seem to take offense with the term? i wouldn't know how to fix it too, because nobody would say "i'm going to an indian-muslim stall/eatery" should it be emphasized that "mamak" is a colloquial, and sometimes negative, term? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.32.35.201 (talk) 23:06, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
