[edit] Your revisions of the Philippé Wynne article
Thank you for your edits to Wynne's article, however I added the sections in order to properly format the article and make it easier for those seeking particular information on the subject to find it. A great number of articles who have gained "featured" and "good" article status use the same format so I figured Wynne's article would be much more successful if we used the same type of format. K.H (talk) 02:28, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- Good point, I'll wait until the article grows to add subheading. Thanks! By the way I'd really appreciate your help on the article if you can make time for it. K.H (talk) 02:50, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 100-Year Old Encyclopedia
Your criticism of an old encyclopedia is meritless. Some facts never change, and some things would not be known today if they had not been known 100 years ago. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.250.38.111 (talk) 03:48, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
I can add that there were two references, and the other was not old. I am attempting to complete the contribution, and people are removing it in as little as one minute after I post what I have. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.250.38.111 (talk) 04:15, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Three-revert rule
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing at Template:African American ethnicity. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you.
We're both older editors, but it appears you need to be reminded of the three-revert rule. Shem(talk) 05:40, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Thank you for your helpfulness with Fear: Anti-Semitism in Poland after Auschwitz. Your presence, as someone not involved in the dispute, made a real difference. Malcolm Schosha (talk) 14:55, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] African American talk page
Malik Shabazz, I know about the no personal attacks rule. It's just that I'm sick and tired of idiots, black and white, who have the racist and self-hating mindset that those two idiots, Doctor Bojangles and Sugarcubez, have. As long as people come on that talk page and challenge it, I will go after them. Fclass (talk) 20:51, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Who is a Jew
You may have reverted an hour and a half after I posted, but others have reverted while I was still working. I reminded you that one reference was recent.
I have placed two references at the bottom of the article, # 44 & 45, and have been unsuccessfull in creating links to them. It would have been more helpful if you had corrected the link. That and several other elements should meet your requirements. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 21:25, June 4, 2008 (talk) 70.250.38.111
[edit] Arthur Waskow Category War
Dear Malik Shabazz, you and User:Thoughtman appear to be engaged in an edit war on the Arthur Waskow article. Your slow moving edit dispute over a category is inappropriate and damages the project. Please use the talk page on the article before making any further edits. Thank you. Sincerely, Bstone (talk) 03:49, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Hello, Malik Shabazz. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Yours, Bstone (talk) 04:14, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Please be advised that any further edit warring on that article (or any article for that matter) will result in a two-day block. It would be very much appreciated if you could talk to User:Thoughtman and come to an agreement. Thank you, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 04:26, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

- Also, do not use Twinkle when reverting content disputes; doing so will get it removed. I'm just warning you so that you know. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 04:29, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

- Don't worry about the Twinkle thing; lots of people don't know, so it's ok. Also, in a nutshell, what's the dispute? From what I see you guys are disagreeing on whether Waskow is for or against the war. Anything more to it? Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 02:19, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

- Hmm... I think I'd agree with you. Stated so on the talk page. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 03:49, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Lehi
Dear Malik, I think you may recall that you arbitrated between myself and Amoruso on the Stern-LEHI terrorist definition some while back (where I documented that Stern defined itself in its own documents as dedicated to terror), so you know the topic and the problem. Someone is repeatedly objecting to the 'designated as a terrorist group' CAT, though in the article's lead, this designation is well documented (I could add that Israel's newly constituted government outlawed LEHI as a 'terrorist' organisation on the 20th of September 1948, and source it if needed). I'm not an expert on CATs, and cannot understand the persistence with which this new editor is trying to remove the CAT, which most editors have not touched. I wonder if you could look at the page and give me your opinion. Thanks, and sorry for the trouble.Nishidani (talk) 14:08, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] howdy
sorry to pop up out of the blue like this, but i was wondering if i could just ask you a favor - the article on Naomi Klein is pretty regularly besieged by pov editors attempting to violate WP:undue by focusing disproportionately on the minority of criticisms of her recent book while failing to acknowledge the overwhelming majority of praise. whatever one's personal feelings on the book, it's pretty inarguable that it was well reviewed by most people, which wikipedia should naturally reflect. sorry to ask you, but i've been dealing with the same people for months, and it gets pretty boring reverting the same silliness over and over. i got into a thing like this over on the ralph nader page a few months ago with a user who was later found to be a sock puppet and blocked. if you could just keep an eye on it from time to time, it would be much appreciated. i'll be posting this message on a few other user pages just in case you've got your plate full or just plum don't wanna do it. thanks. ps - i love your work on the emma goldman page! [edit] African Americans
Magicman710 (talk) 20:14, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Why did you remove my section regarding crime by African Americans? It was not a test and I have no reason to use the sandbox. You are the one vadalizing by removing someone elses work. You are not the owner of the African American article any more than you own the Moon....
