  • Maltese ItalianItalian Maltese - According to all other Italian Irredenta diaspora pages, this format should be kept. It was moved from the corrected title by a POV edit without discussion earlier. Thanks Crystalclearchanges (talk) 10:32, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Looking at the other articles in Category:Irredentism with which this move is supposed to be consistent, every one, Italian Corfiot,[1] Italian Corsican,[2] and Italian Tunisian,[3] was moved by the nominee on February 3 without prior discussion. Until then, the consistent standard was apparently the opposite to what's being applied now. Second, looking at the move logs of the user,[4] many have been reverted, and from the talk page of the nominee, there's been much objection to his moves as well.
I don't know if there's other standards to consider, so will recuse myself from taking a side pending wider discussion. Can't call it uncontroversial, though. --DeLarge (talk) 11:15, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Yes i did make incorrect moves to other pages before, as I was in fact doing the opposite of what I am trying to do now. The move I am making (well trying to, since it hasnt been done yet) now is the correct way. View the Italian ethnic grouping template for more information. Thank you. • We need to distinguish Italians on Malta from Maltese in Italy. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:22, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Please note that the window has already closed for this request, so I'm removing it from RM at this time. Feel free to file a full request if you like. Dekimasuよ! 05:19, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

This needs to be discussed more. All the other Italian diaspora pages place the "Italian" before the country of which they reside. I see no reason why this should be the exception. The current title suggests Maltese people living in Italy, which is the opposite meaning. Crystalclearchanges (talk) 18:40, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
