Yeah I've been coming to Malta all my life, heard it in lots of bars. Perhaps it's more popular with English settlers on the island and people who know them? Do you know Mellieha? I know some Maltese people there who know the song, a guy I know used to sing it Mushin 23:51, 1 December 2005 (UTC)

It is a real song. I have a tape of it, sung by Tony Camilleri. I'm not sure I'd regard it as a traditional song though. I've taken the liberty of adding the remaining lyrics. Rhialto 12:13, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
